2016 Year End Report

The theme of our 2016 Year End Report is Intersections.

Community foundations sit at the intersection of resources and needs.  Through our knowledge of Western North Carolina and our donors' interests, we are able to make connections - in some cases matching programs with funds and people with projects.

There are thousands of people across the region working to build a brighter future for everyone.  The intersection of philanthropy and community is an inspiring spot.  There is a role for all of us to play in addressing challenges and developing solutions.  Read the report and watch the videos above and below to learn more about the people and organizations who make CFWNC's work possible

CFWNC manages assets for 129 nonprofits including the Altapass Foundation. Watch the video.

Andrew Reichman chose to give back to his community and honor his family by opening a CFWNC scholarship fund.  Watch the video.
